Non drip tape is a black butyl tape impregnated with small particles of cork which can be wrapped around cold pipes to prevent condensation.

Cold pipes in factories, warehouses, plants and mines can result in water vapour in the surrounding air condensing on their surface. This condensation then drips on to the floor causing damp problems and water damage.

This dripping water problem can be prevented by wrapping the non drip cork tape around the pipe. It insulates the pipe surface from the surrounding air and does not transfer the cold temperature from the pipe. This virtually eliminates condensation and in turn the dripping water.

The tape feels like a black prestik putty and is easy to apply. Simply spirally wind it around the pipe. Smooth over its surface with your hand to press the wound joins together and you have your protective layer.
