Floor marking tape is also often known as demarcation tape. It is a thick coloured PVC tape usually in widths of about a few inches. A common application for this tape is to make the yellow lines often found in factories and warehouses. The advantage of using tape over paint is the ease in which layout can be changed and simplicity of application. Other common uses for this tape are for floor markings on sport courts, dance floors, martial art events, exhibitions, etc.
The tape is available in black, blue, green, red, white and yellow. The stock size width is 48mm, but 72mm and 96mm are also common sizes. Other widths can be cut to order. All floor marking tape comes in 33m lengths and 150 micron thickness.
This tape can be used for basic pipe colour coding so long as specific colours are not required. It is often used as a shutter tape on construction sites.
